Facility Safety Assessment
OccuSafe has conducted over 1000 site assessments of facility safety and health programs. These included compliance with OSHA regulations as well as acceptable work practices. Assessments included management support and funding of the safety program, supervisor knowledge and support of safe work practices, machine guarding, emergency response, fire protection, control of flammable liquids and spray painting, use of hazardous chemicals, personal protective equipment, electrical safety practices, welding, forklifts and material handling, lifting and ergonomic hazards, and training. Practical recommendations on correcting deficiencies and maintaining compliance are integral to the process.
